 Embody the Cross

A Creative Lenten Reflection

Have you ever thought about not only gazing at or wearing a cross but sensing it deep within your body?

Have you ever imagined the cross offering you Divine support in your body as you navigate through your day?

Have you ever looked upon the cross and pondered how Jesus is showing you to live in your body?

Sense Divine support in your body and develop
faith-based skills to help manage the stress of everyday life.

Creatively explore the cross from a new perspective this Lenten season through simple movement, guided meditation, and art journaling.

On the day of your baptism, you were marked with the sign of the cross OUTSIDE of your body. Now you will be invited to receive the stability and strength of the cross deep INSIDE your body.

You will awaken to the cross as being a BEAUTIFUL GATEWAY for God's love, mercy, and grace to flow directly into your body.

Following Jesus' example, you will practice taking up your cross and surrendering to God THROUGH YOUR BODY.

Experience the gift of developing an embodied knowing of God and become more GROUNDED, OPEN-HEARTED, AND AWARE.
